Johannes Prager
Nation: Austrian
Languages: German, French, English, Spanish, Catalan, Croatian
*Johannes Prager, Captain, Austrian
Johan has an Austrian background and grew up on a family-owned sailing yacht traveling around the world.

Infected by travel fever, he chose to start a career in professional yachting when he was only 19, working on both sailing and motor yachts. In the past decade, he has worked his way up to a captain’s position, always committed to ensure the best possible guest experience and valuing the high professionalism of every crew member. His main priority, aside from maintaining the vessel to the highest standard, is drawing from his seafarer’s background to find the best routes, sheltered bays, and special anchorages to make his guests enjoy a truly unique experience onboard.

In his free time, you will find Johan sailing his own sailboat which he always keeps close, following his biggest passion.

Languages: German, French, English, Spanish

*Roberto Ostricki, Chef, Croatian
Roberto Ostricki, born in Croatia, was raised in Germany and in the Netherlands and has a German/Austrian family background. Since a young age, he was driven by cooking and the sea, so here he is, after so many years - combining both. He has worked on cruise ships and yachts for over 17 years, yet he can’t get enough of visiting new places, trying new dishes, and meeting different people from different countries to share memorable stories about a beautiful fact called - LIFE. Over the years he has been living in many European countries, as well as in Colombia where he got to learn a lot about different cooking styles, cultures, and lifestyles. He loves to cook Mediterranean, French, Spanish, Italian & German-style cuisines and is most excited about Vegan cuisine since he has been following a vegan lifestyle for over seven years.
Roberto is truly passionate about healthy lifestyles, vegan cuisine, yoga, reading, exploring, diving, traveling, and a lot of outdoor sports. In his free time, he can be found volunteering for the Red Cross, at the gym, cooking, or practicing some yoga exercises - a lifestyle as multi-faceted as his food.

Roberto speaks fluently German, Croatian, Spanish, Italian, English, and basic Dutch

*Mercè Ruiz, Chief Stewardess, Spanish
Mercè is originally from Barcelona, Spain and graduated from university with a degree in biology. She is passionate about nature and the beauty of the marine environment which is why she likes to spend her time on the water. During her studies, Mercé worked in different areas of the service industry and realized that providing great service and seeing clients happy is something that makes her feel truly rewarded.

Working in the yachting industry provides her with the perfect combination of being surrounded by the sea and dedicating herself to making her guests feel welcomed and attended in the best way possible.

Languages: Spanish, English, Catalan

*Caterina Siquier, Stewardess/Deckhand, Spanish
Caterina Siquier was born in Mallorca, Spain, and studied economics at university in Barcelona. Seeking adventure and following her passion to travel, she joined the yachting industry after graduation. Caterina has previous experience in hospitality, consultancy, and childcare and loves attending to children on board as well. She will cater to your every need and will make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

During her free time, you will find Caterina Siquier spending time with her family, traveling, and discovering the world while learning how to surf and dive.

Languages: Spanish, English, Catalan

*Roberto San Roman Iglesias, Chief Engineer, Spanish
Roberto was born in Oviedo, Principality of Asturias in northern Spain. He always had a passion for sailing because it gave him satisfaction and peace of mind. Roberto embarked on a journey at sea to work on fishing vessels and commercial ships which made him sail as far as Argentina and the ferocious
North Sea.
He had always been intrigued with being able to work in the engine room as he sees it as the “heart of the ship”, and therefore passed his studies in the Maritime Academy as Engineer Officer. Being a team player, hard-working and easily integrated into the crew, he found himself to be a good fit onboard big yachts and decided to pursue a career in yachting a few years ago. Whilst taking full charge of the engineering systems onboard throughout the day to ensure all the systems are working well, Roberto also enjoys being outside and you will see him on the swimming platform helping out with toys, tender runs, and maneuvering- unusual for an Engineer but helping our deck team to perform at its best!

Roberto speaks Spanish and English

*Jacob Ribera, 1st Mate / Assistant Engineer, Australian
Jacob was born in Mallorca, Spain, and started his yachting career right after high school as a deckhand. His very first voyage started in Mallorca and finished in New Zealand, crossing the Pacific and Atlantic twice, during which his passion for the ocean and watersports grew. His most memorable moments were crossing the Panama Canal, diving in Galapagos, and surfing in Tahiti. Jacob enjoys learning about new cultures and connecting with people from all over the world.

In his free time, you will find him surfing, fishing, diving, hiking, rock climbing or towing water toys. Jacob is also improving his sailing skills and learns how to windsurf and kite. Look forward to trying out all the toys you like as Jacob will make sure you have a fantastic time!

Rates are Plus Expenses
Charter rate July/August: 120.000 EUR/week + VAT + A.P.A.
Charter rate June/Sept.: 110.000 EUR/week + VAT + A.P.A.
all other months: 90.000 EUR/week + VAT + A.P.A.

Security Deposit: 5.000 EUR (mandatory for all bookings)

*3-day charter minimum and subject to the owner's approval. Charter rate is to be divided by 6 multiplied by the days booked.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
